In dialogue with the Wixárika, one of Mexico’s Indigenous peoples, this piece translates Wixárika cosmology into a sculptural language. It explores the visionary experience associated with hikuri (peyote), where perception opens toward hidden dimensions of existence. Three serpents intertwine in a spiraling movement, creating a vortex that traverses the underworld, the earthly realm, and the celestial realm. Each embodies a state of being, while their bodies merge into a single flow, becoming a path and conduit between worlds. The spiral transforms these realms into a continuous movement, where life, spirit, and matter meet, dissolve, and take form again. Three serpents converge and articulate around the central diamond, which reinterprets hikuri as a core of vision and transformation, serving as a connecting mechanism that keeps them intertwined; when removed, the gold and silver serpents are released from the structure and, through a complementary system, take on a second function as earrings, while the rose serpent remains attached to the diamond as the ring. In this way, the piece takes on different forms while preserving its unity. Dimensions: 58 x 51 x 34 mm (L x W x H)
