This piece was inspired by hurricanes. The swirling metal forms capture the wild energy of the storm, while a single blue topaz represents the calm eye at its centre. When the ring is placed upon its stand, the whole piece becomes an eye, a symbol of the 'Eye of God' watching over the tempest, offering divine presence and protection. I believe Jewellery should function as art when not worn.
