Yiting Liu
Gemmological Institute, China University of Geosciences(Wuhan)
Raised beside China's Grand Canal, Yiting Liu developed an early fascination with history through childhood discoveries of ancient coins, ceramic fragments, shells, and other traces of the past found along the riverbank. These encounters fostered a lasting interest in the stories embedded within objects and materials. Currently pursuing a master's degree in Design Studies at Gemmological Institute, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), she explores contemporary jewelry through digital craft, material experimentation, and cultural research. Her practice is driven by curiosity about how objects carry memory, meaning, and connections between people, places, and time.
